An Ecstatic, Heart Opening Experience
Saturday 4/20
4:30-6:30pm
We're merging two of the most wholesome, heart opening experiences to share with you at Be Brave Yoga.
To begin, Rebecca will lead us in a heart expanding cacao ceremony to open us to the love within ourselves and around us. Cacao, the raw and pure form of chocolate, is known as a gentle heart opener that allows us to experience states of joy, bliss, and euphoria while promoting feelings of oneness and community. When cacao is shared in community, people often have an experience of mood elevation, increased vitality, enhanced intuition and empathy, and a more open and present heart.
Following our cacao ceremony, we'll ease our way into an ecstatic Kirtan, a musical mantra experience to uplift your spirit and embrace joy. Kirtan, a form of Bhakti Yoga, or Yoga of the heart, is known for increasing interconnectedness and opening the heart and emotional body while singing to the divine. As we drop into our hearts and bodies supported by the energy of cacao, our Kirtan is sure to be taken to elevated heights. This joy-filled and sacred practice will amplify the energetic field of our hearts and the medicine will offer healing for the mind, body, and soul.
We cannot wait to connect with you.

When I was 24 years old, I discovered this way of life, it saved me really. I was on a self destructive path and dealing with debilitating arthritis every day. As a mom of two young children, something had to change. I tried changing my diet, I tried traditional exercise, I tried doctors and medications. Nothing was helping. Then I tried yoga. There was something different about this approach to wellness. Yoga didn't address any symptoms but rather taught me how to approach my own wellness through a complete system. I learned to look at myself physically, mentally, and emotionally; my entire energetic make up had been shifted through regular practice, which doesn't always have to be on a mat in a Yoga studio. I never saw myself walking this path but looking back now, it makes so much sense. It was exactly what I needed. I knew very early on that spreading this love I had found was my true calling. What that looks like has transformed over the last 14 years. I find yoga everywhere; In my developing patience and trust that my garden will grow, in raising my children to be aware of their breath and to develop a life filled with self love and self care, and in teaching Asana and Bhakti to anyone who finds themselves in need of some spiritual maintenance and community.
I can't wait to meet you, no matter what leg of the journey you're on.
